Baptist

Part of Christianity. Introduced 1608 CE.

The Baptist movement was founded by John Smyth, a Cambridge graduate who believed that baptism should be reserved for believers only. John Smyth and a group of believers migrated from England to Holland in 1608 to found the movement.
